Founded by Paulus Briels and Peter Forbes, two veterans of HR technology, Navigo delivers quality solutions to clients in Australia, New Zealand and the Oceania region.

Paulus Briels - Managing Director

Perceiving a growing gap between HR and IT, Paulus began work in HR technology in 1995 with the aim of providing support for the new HR professional.

Paulus approaches HR from a grounding of 15 years work in senior management. This first-hand experience lets Paulus understand the managerial challenges inherent in measuring human capital. Paulus is the driver behind Navigo’s goal to increase the measurability and strategic weight of HR.

A special authority on workforce visualisation, Paulus is an exponent on the value that intelligent organisational charting can bring to people strategy in Australasian HR.

Over his long career, Paulus has worked on ERP implementations and HRIS, distribution and retail systems around the world. Navigo customers benefit from this experience and from Paulus’ senior management focus.

Peter Forbes - Technical Director

Peter is a specialist in HR technology with extensive in-depth experience working on-site with HR departments around Australasia. Peter is the man behind Navigo’s technical excellence.

15 years ago Peter began his IT career at an HR technology vendor working on HRIS development: From then until now Peter’s work has been dedicated almost exclusively to HR. A regular speaker at HR technology conferences and active member of HRIS user groups, Peter is forever exploring the latest developments in HR technology.

Over his career Peter has solved business problems for large and diverse organisations including government, finance and higher education, as well as large corporations in Australia and around the world.

Peter has seen and delivered the best that HR technology can offer, and leverages that experience every day to deliver the best-case outcome for every Navigo customer.

Daniel Scheltinga - Operations Manager

Dan joins Navigo after more than 7 years with Swinburne University’s IT department and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Information Systems Management. As Operations Manager Dan is responsible for Navigo’s daily business, ensuring our team delivers every project on time and on budget.

David Jennings - Business Development Manager

David is Navigo’s experienced OrgPlus business manager and an expert on organisational charting software. With a long background in IT project management and software sales, David's expertise in tailoring software solutions helps our clients to meet their real-world business objectives.

Ben Lamb - Technical Consultant

Ben is an experienced trainer, technical consultant and expert Oracle programmer. Ben works with large organisations on a daily basis, assisting with the technical application, installation and upgrades of Alesco and OrgPlus. He brings this hands-on expertise to Navigo's public and on-site enterprise software training.

Matt Barker - Technical Consultant

Matt is technical consultant and chief systems architect experienced in Oracle configuration and programming. Matt is an experienced Alesco trouble-shooter and has been strongly involved in OrgPlus implementations across Australasia, helping Navigo to deliver on its service guarantee.

Belinda Walsh - Product Consultant

Belinda is OrgPlus product consultant, client account manager and administrator for Navigo's Melbourne office. Belinda regularly touches-base with every Navigo client to make sure that they are achieving the best possible outcomes from their Navigo solutions.

Rod Bishop - Marketing Manager

Rod comes from the new-school of marketing with a focus on design and innovation, and understands that the focus of an organisation is on business, not technology. His focus is on helping Navigo's clients to learn how technology can deliver solutions for their real-world business objectives.
