Founded by Paulus Briels and Peter Forbes, two veterans of the Human Resources applications industry, Navigo aims to provide quality solutions to clients in Australia, New Zealand and the Oceania region.
Paulus is a co-founder of Navigo and is responsible for business direction and strategy.
Paulus has a diverse senior management and IT background. Educated in the Netherlands, Paulus' background is in international hotel and event management. Paulus has worked in Asia, Europe and the Middle East on a myriad of large and diverse projects such as Hotel openings, Conventions, ERP implementations, HRIS, Distribution and Retail systems.
Peter's role at Navigo includes overseeing the professional services division and Navigo Support centre, as well as providing technical solutions and consultancy to our client base.
A technology specialist, with a Bachelor of Information Technology degree, Peter has been solving business problems for over 13 years.
Peter has significant experience in the design, development and implementation of applications based on Oracle technologies for the finance, higher education sectors, as well as large corporate clients.
Outside of work Peter is a keen classic car enthusiast and enjoys driving and working on his classics. His personal website has more information on his projects.
David is responsible for Business Development activities relating to the OrgPlus suite of products at Navigo.
With a long background in I.T Project Management and software sales, David has previously held General Manager and Regional Sales Manager positions for mid-sized Australian software organisations.
Ben is a Technical Consultant with four years experience. An experienced programmer and has been with Navigo since graduating from LaTrobe University with a Bachelor of Information Systems degree.
Ben's recent projects have seen him working closely with large organisations assisting in the technical application of Alesco, including development of bolt-ons, creating applications using Alesco API's and report writing using the Oracle BI tool Discoverer and PL/SQL. Ben is also experienced in OrgPlus installation and implementation.
Matt is a Technical Consultant with two years relevant experience and joined Navigo as a graduate from Monash University with a bachelor of Computer Science. Matt brings to Navigo a wealth of programming standards, software development and software engineering skills.
Experienced in Oracle configuration and programming, Matt has performed Alesco v10 installations and is experienced in Alesco trouble shooting, bolt-ons and Discoverer report writing. More recently Matt has been strongly involved in OrgPlus implementations and training, having integrated OrgPlus with Alesco and Chris21 at a number of organisations.
Cassie is the newest member of the Navigo team as a Business Consultant. Cassie recently completed a Master of Business Administration at Swinburne University of Technology and also has a Bachelor of Business. Cassie joined Navigo after 6+ years at Swinburne University of Technology. Her most recent role at Swinburne was as Payroll Team Leader Systems and Service.
Cassie is a practical problem solver, being able to work outside the square and visualise a bigger organisational picture of a problem and solution. An excellent trouble shooter, Cassie is always happy to help out on complex issues to deliver a successful outcome.
Jennifer has worked in a number of large corporations in a senior administrative capacity including Arthur Andersons, Apple Computer and Aussat Pty. Ltd.(now Optus). She brings to Navigo experience in key areas including Sales, Marketing, Human Resouces, Public Relations and Finance.
At Navigo, Jennifer oversees the smooth running of our office and ensures our clients are well looked after in a timely and professional manner. On weekends she enjoys exploring Sydney's waterways by boat and bushwalking.
