Product Support Consultant

    What you'll be doing

    We're looking for a support consultant to help our large enterprise customer base get the best value from our HR solutions.

     

    Navigo is a friendly, casual and fast-growing company that provides solutions to Human Resource departments in medium and large corporates. Our product line includes workforce modelling, org charting and employee onboarding solutions. Our consulting services include both strategic and operational projects in the HR Technology industry.

     

    Due to an internal promotion we're looking for a Support Consultant with a passion for technology and software to join our Melbourne based team.

     

    You'll be mentored by a number of senior staff and have the opportunity to work with some of Australia's leading organisations.

     

    Who we're after

    The type of person we're looking for:

  • is a people person who can speak both fluent geek and human depending on their audience
  • is pro-active, organised and able to communicate with customers and colleagues effectively
  • a fast learner with software products
  • is a great trouble shooter and problem solver has good analytical skills
  • doesn't want to travel into the CBD everyday (we're based in Ringwood)
  • likes to have fun and is looking for a career not a job!
  •  

    Preferred but not essential:

  • is tertiary qualified or equivalent in Computer Science, Info Technology etc
  • has had exposure to databases eg.Oracle, SQL Server HTML/CSS skills
  • has exposure to a IT customer support role
  • devops opportunity
  • variety in role
  • troubleshooting
  • linux, windows, oracle
  • Experience writing PL/SQL or TSQL
  •  

    As a small company we all work in diverse roles.

    Your role will initially include:

  • Managing our Support Desk
  • Allocating support tickets
  • Replying to tickets on our organisational charting product
  • Handling support phone calls on our organisational charting product
  • Holding mentoring sessions with customers on how to use our organisational charting product
  • Completing our managed services checklist for customers using our organisational charting product
  •  

    Other duties as required.
