Security and Usability Enhancements

Receiving external job applications is a major aspect of any recruitment system. Alesco’s E-Recruitment module provides this functionality, however many organisations demand enhancements or specialised functionality on top of the core.

Enhancements which Navigo has made to Alesco’s external job application functionality include:

  • Captcha authentication
    Reduces the number of spam applications by validating that the respondent is human.
  • Increased security
    Including limiting the number and types of documents that can be attached.
  • Tighter website integration
    Including a feed of available jobs delivered via XML that can be imported into a website CMS and styled to match.

Years of usability

Navigo delivered enhanced job board flexibility to University of Newcastle in 2008 – the solution is still in place, and has been working since that time to improve the efficiency of their recruitment process, and the user experience for new applicants.
