OrgPlus Professional Basics

Audience

This course is designed for new users of OrgPlus Professional who have never used an OrgPlus product previously.

Overview

By the end of this session attendees will be able to create professional looking charts that can be published to your company intranet, used in reports or emailed to managers.

Attendees will also be able to use the panel features of OrgPlus Professional to create profiles, quick searches and reports.

OrgPlus Professional Advanced Concepts

Audience

This course is designed for users of OrgPlus Professional who have a basic knowledge of creating a chart and are ready to take their charts to the next level of chart sophistication.

Are you getting the most out of the OrgPlus Features?

Overview

By the end of this session attendees will be able to create more advanced multi charts which include comment boxes, hot spots and duplicate manager identification.

Attendees will have a broader view of all the OrgPlus features available in making the data rich charts for publishing.

Pre-requisite

It is assumed that attendees of this course have been using OrgPlus Professional at a basic level and are able to import data, create a chart and undertake basic formatting of a chart.

1/2 Day (4 Hours)

Topics Covered

  • Reminder of basic features such as; merge fields, applying templates, inserting comment boxes, using the group email feature, scheduling the refresh and publishing process, defining fields, formatting fields i.e. numbers, conditional formatting
  • Dotted line/duplicate reporting (when an employee has more than 1 manager)
  • Using photo manager
  • Using multiple charts per project
  • Using legends
  • Using the symbols library and mapped fields
  • Getting the most out of the panel features including directories, search, report, profile panels (including composite profiles) and hotspots

Using Metrics in OrgPlus Professional

Audience

This course is designed for users of OrgPlus Professional who are ready to start creating dynamic analytical charts for use by managers in decision making.

Overview

By the end of this session attendees will have been provided with ideas for creating some useful metrics charts.

Using a sample data set, attendees will create the following sample metrics charts:

  • Headcount
  • EFT
  • Gender ratio
  • Age ratio
  • Salary Rollup
  • Average Salary
  • Leave Liability
  • Employee Benefit Participation

The session will also briefly look at using the Reports Panel feature.

The ability for attendees to produce these charts in their workplace will depend on the data extra they have available and they may need to organise additional data fields to be extracted from their HRIS.

Pre-requisite

It is assumed that attendees of this course have been using OrgPlus Professional at a basic to intermediate level and are able to import data, create a chart and undertake basic formatting of a chart.

OrgPlus Enterprise Administrator Training

Audience

This course is designed for the person(s) that will perform the Administration role of OrgPlus Enterprise within your organisation.

Overview

OrgPlus Enterprise Administrators have two functions in their role;

  • administer the chart creation (look and feel)
  • administer the end user security

By the end of this session attendees will be able to create professional looking chart templates (Views) using OrgPlus Professional and will be able to import these to OrgPlus Enterprise and in turn publish to the web.  In addition, the administrator will be able to configure the secure logons for end users as required.

Audience

This course is designed for end users (managers, personal assistants) of OrgPlus Enterprise who wish to use the OrgPlus Enterprise charts in presentations or who wish to create what-if-scenarios.

Overview

Attendees will be able to create chart templates (Views) that suite their needs such as adding or deleting fields or formulas or create what-if scenarios by adding, deleting or moving boxes.  Watch formulas update automatically as boxes and fields are added, deleted, moved or altered.  By the end of this session attendees will be able to use current or revised charts in presentations or export data to excel.
