Heartbleed and HROnboard / HRForms

By / April 11, 2014 / / 0 Comments

As you might have heard, an OpenSSL vulnerability  called “Heartbleed” was recently discovered, which may have resulted in information being compromised across a large majority of online services.

OpenSSL is widely used by many applications, including our HROnboard / HRForms platform, to securely and privately transmit data on the Internet. The information exposed by the Heartbleed bug could have allowed an attacker to eavesdrop on these communications and steal data that could be tampered or used maliciously.

At Navigo we have taken this issue very seriously and we’ve ensured that all of our systems that use OpenSSL have been patched to remove the vulnerability, and we’ve replaced any security certificates that may have been compromised – ensuring the continued security of the HROnboard / HRForms platform.

We would like to reassure you that the security of your data is our utmost priority. Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries or concerns with this.
