The iAwards are a national award for innovation in business. Previous winners include Swinburne University, telecommunications giant Huawei, and successful Australian startup WOTIF.
Our nomination is via a merit achievement at the state level of the iAwards. This puts in the running for the national round of awards to be held here in Melbourne in August.
We were awarded this achievement because of our cloud-based employee onboarding software HROnboard. Users of HROnboard include Deakin University, Tatts Group, and Swisse. HR Onboard takes a traditionally paper-based process and moves it online, making inducting new employees faster, more effective, and more cost-efficient.
HROnboards achievement was recognised in the Tools category of the iAwards, which, according to the iAwards website, covers management, middleware, integration and platforms.
The iAwards website points out that “the challenge for innovators is to try to foresee what a business may need and develop the tools and infrastructure to enable these business demands to be met in real time but within the pragmatic constraints of budget and practicality.”
We’re really pleased about being recognised with this merit award at the state level. Its great to see that the employee onboarding space is getting attention from an organisation like the iAwards. A lot of hard work has gone into HROnboard and it’s a product we really believe in. We know from feedback every day that HROnboard is making the employee induction process much less costly for our customers. We’re really looking forward to the national awards in August! Stay tuned for updates.
